Well, this is starting to look very up-to-date.

I hate to compare my self to The Greats like Dickens or Twain, but sooner or later a Desert Peach story will land with both boots in the middle of today’s news.  Whether it was written with yesterday’s news in mind or not.

Speaking of stories I need desperately to start scanning the Stinz art, which is supposed to start once the Peach stories are over.  It’s not just scanning; it’s a lot of thematic organization.  The Stinz stories were more episodic, and had a much more flexible timeline.  Think Pulp Fiction for flipping back and forth between the moment and the backstory. I don’t want to put it off, but other files are more in line, specifically Hader and The Colonel and Bosom Enemies.

A German girl is begging to come be my intern.  I’ve had an intern before, who is very much responsible for the latest available version of Peach Slices (The Director’s Cut) at my storefront.  If I can get my hands on the new intern I’ll work her to death scanning art.  With me hanging over her being picky.  AND I will get started on that new Afterdead story so she’ll have something to look at at the end of a rotten hard day.  Not to mention the long walks on the beach, and fish-and-chips and MacNJack at the Clallam Bay Inn.

Hector’s still here.  Demanded to go outside yesterday.  Poor rickety, skinny, fading guy — still the boss!
