I had so much fun drawing this one. I love to draw natural scenes and animals.
And antlers. I love antlers. Recently I’ve wanted to issue a trophy challenge — collecting 15 pairs of antlers from the same animal over 15 years. It would involve incredibly patient tracking, woodscraft, and hard work, following the same stag and waiting for the antlers to drop each season. Now THAT’s trophy hunting!

Everytime a new issue starts, I think to myself “I LOVE this issue”! I’ve done that several times. In the history of my comic collecting, only a handful of comics actually brought tears to my eyes when I read them This issue is one of them. :’)
I get that from readers. Usually they’re laughing their butts off. Then again, it’s said comedy comes from pain.
