Whereas in this country up north, the government realises it so badly worded the law that many marriages are not actually recognised (if same-sex foreigners get married in canada, but it wouldn’t be valid in their country, then the government doesn’t recognise the marriage as valid). Now they’re scrambling to fix that – which is the correct reaction, but still, it shows how important that all laws pass some form of reality test first and lots of double-checking. Treat them like scientific theorems and try to break them as much as prove them while it’s still a “theory” (bill)…
If we hit ‘em in this country about the National Security State and how deeply they’re all involved in our bloated military beast, they wouldn’t have time for this malarkey. And gov’s and churches better watch it because if they keep up this crap, they’ll get thrown out of the mix.
