It’s amazing how many people thought they knew what the camps were like, especially in America among the non-Jewish population, who were often in agreement with Hitler for not “buckling under to the bankers.”
Early on, some of them were little more than collection centers, often for Germans. But these things just spiral downwards. Prisons become pits if not watched every moment, or ignored. We need to remember that.






If we do not remember, we will be reminded.
