Lady Luck is as close as I come to writing a story about my military experience as a woman.
At least in prose. I did it much more personally, in the prose novel Permanent Party.

I was never able to find a hard copy of this issue, though I looked and looked. I’m delighted to be able to read it at last.
Oh, Kristoff. He breaks my heart, especially after the novel.
Ohh dear >.O I got a bad feeling about this…
it’s the Desert Peach … of course you’ve got a bad feeling about this.
Popcorn?
Teka Lynn: I’ve had readers go back and read everything every time a new issue came out, just to see the new layers opening up and being hinted at. Not always my mastery of writing, really — stuff boils around in the back of my brain all on its own. You don’t think stuff like this out.
KS Claw: Hey Mister always says, “No good can come of this.”
hswoolve: What you said. We better stop buttering that stuff, or they’ll roll us out of here. No, wait, is this an Afterdead Theater — nobody gains weight? (Yeah, like a woman didn’t write THAT series).
Yeah, but WW2 and “field mattress”? Bad shit happened to those girls going by that nick in Denmark too =/
KS Claw: Girls who run around squeaking, “I’m not a Feminist!” don’t know this stuff. Feminism got going in Germany after WWII for a REASON.
*nods*
I have all the “hard” copies, and I read this online as it appears as well… and it is still thrilling,.
