This was SO much fun to draw. I love afterlife scenes, because there are no limits, and lots of mythologies to mess with.
Buildings and clouds are fun to pile up.
As a kid, I watched a lot of Warner Brothers cartoons from the World War Two era, and there were a lot of jokes about living with rationing and how nothing was going to return to normal “For The Duration.” If you think our parents (your grandparents?) were all patriotic and stuff during that war, watch those cartoons — the one about the Little Man From The Draft Board going after Daffy Duck is especially telling.

Again? We’ll find out.
My mouth was full of pop corn thanks.
blue: “Again” as in “had a little problem with the page sequence. And yes, one more page of mythology to come.
oooh … it’s all shiny and fancy … and I’ll bet it has air conditioning too.
hswoolve: Yes. it does. The Zephyr ® brand.
Fallen? Nah. “Thou shalt not suffer the farking werewolf to live amongst thee” is one of the most basic Commandments. Pfirsich is simply letting justice take its course. Mr. “Whosoever sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed” would be perfectly cool with that. No need for Junior to cover Big Daddy’s eyes.
