Americans, especially, are now being hit with the “They were supposed to be Dead” attitude we started in the 19th century.
The Germans figured they could kill off all the Jews and destroy the camps and their records before anybody found out. If there wasn’t so much as a photo or a video left, who would get excited? The novel Fatherland had that wrong.
The Indians were supposed to have vanished. We’re beginning to face what we did as their descendants — not dead or assimilated — come back asking “WHY?”
Nixon’s tape displays him telling the builders of the health care industry that most of the Baby Boomers will be dead and their payments can be harvested.
If I’m told I’m dying and that I get no care because the company took my money, I’m selling my Luger, buying something that won’t get a stovepipe jam, like a Colt .22 Woodsman, posting an explanatory video — and taking out as many of those SOBs as I can manage. What will I have to lose?
We’ll see who’s supposed to be dead….

I live in East TN, and there are a number of Cherokee here whos’ ancestors managed to dodge the Trail of Tears to Oklahoma. On fellow at work wears the same sort of t-shirt to work every Columbus Day.
“Columbus didn’t discover America, he Invaded It.”
Point made, and I have to agree.
I like the photo of Geronimo and his cohorts, with the title, “Fighting terrorism since 1492.” Watching the immigration mess in Arizona reminds me that the natives had a really bad immigration policy — they always started by sharing and negotiating with the most murderous race on the planet. Right now, we’re taking it out on the Gulf of Mexico.
