Rosen was such a joy to draw as a young man. He’s really who we all want to be; totally amoral, handsome as hell (well, those of us who are gay men trapped in women’s bodies) and with a heart that might as well be a compass for the way it always points True.
I dunno about you, but I’ve never liked my men Emo. My dad wasn’t Emo — but that says more about nurture than nature.
I will admit that as a young teenager I drew some thin things, but it was always adult males, usually tormented by loneliness or overwhelmed by responsibilities, who wandered across my pages. Then again, my friends DO call me a GMTIAWB.

I dunno, I kind of like him in the “after hours” extra you did (I think in the desert peach the musical issue). He looks good in a tux.
HALOF (Had a lot of fun) drawing and writing that one. Backstage has always been more fun for me; whenever I’m watching a movie or TV and some horrid villain comes on, I know he must be the nicest guy on the set. Like Sergi López in Pan’s Labyrinth.
Yes, you’re right, it’s issue 18, The Musical Program. So everybody stay tuned and you’ll see that one, too!
Oh yeah, I’d be one of them what be trapped in opposite gender bodies – I never drew the emo boys either – always the ones full of angst on the inside but manly on the outside.
You know the type. A big bad scary soldier, what likes kittens. XD
Oh, Jesus, yes. What’s up with that? Or maybe it ‘splains what our daddies were like….
