Pictures of Rommel’s mother look like him in drag. So many boys do look like their moms. And girls like their dads. Bet my astute readers already have links to her picture. Yeah, that and photos of Taisho era men’s western clothes — drove myself crazy trying to find shots of THOSE. It’s all “Taisho chic.”
The things we find when we’re googling. I knew about this, don’t know how official it is. It would make a good AFTERDEAD plot. Authors are shameless, I know, but I TRY to be a little delicate about the realities of people’s lives. These aren’t our characters after all, they’re real.
The only excuse we can claim is a lot of this stuff seems to be channeled. “De Debil made me do it!”
Pfirsich really got his. He’s lucky his shy older brother was there for him.
Finally Pfirsich gets what he asked for. Like that will teach him any lessons.
My husband was attacked by a goose as a kid. He said he couldn’t imagine how much worse a swan would be.
Rommel’s father was supposed to have been an autocratic personality. Why not reflect that in the child that, in reality, died in infancy?
This early evidence of Rommel’s stubbornness has been recorded by biographers and family members.
Rommel was said to be a fragile, quiet child. This is a bad day in the life of such a child. To children, everything seems harder and worse.
What? No Desert Peach #21? After all that hype yesterday about The Good Uncle storyline?!? Basta!
